Ford Restructures Ahead Of Schedule

S Ford Motor Co. CEO Alan Mulally told Wall Street analysts that the company is restructuring ahead of schedule. The restructuring is basa advance its goal of consolidating global design and engineering operations.
It can be taken into account that the company has initiated the restructuring plan requiring the heads of divisions of Ford to report directly to Mulally. The latter intends to raise the company& 39;s assets to produce better and faster vehicles much lower cost. " There is a chance for us to harness our resources and capabilities around the world, and harness for the good of the greatest Ford, " said Mulally. " It& 39;s probably our greatest opportunity ".
Mulally has outlined a plan to merge the various Ford divisions around the world into a global brand Blue Oval. Ford exec hinted that in fact there are six or seven different brands scattered around the world - each one has its own product lineup.
